When it comes to multi-functional tool pliers, many people will think of LEATHERMAN and GERBER. People usually think of NEXTORCH’s lighting products like flashlights when mentioning it, and relatively few people know about its EDC product line.
I accidentally found their tool pliers quite interesting, so I got one to check it out. I had already prepared myself mentally before I got my hands on it. I had thought that the texture and workmanship of this tool pliers at this price would surely be inferior to those mainstream models that cost several times more. However, it turned out to be quite good after I actually used it.The package included a nylon sheath, and its smoothness was much better than I had expected. Other brands’ tool pliers have their main structures either double-folded or push-pulled in the middle. But this pair of pliers has a triple-folded main structure. What’s rather interesting is the restraint strap key. The manufacturer calls it the Plastic Handcuffs Cutter on the package. I think we can also use it as a wire stripping tool. There’s also a red customized version of the same model. The red color is more eye-catching and more suitable for rescue workers.
As for its durability, it still needs to be tested over time. For now, this pair of pliers is quite good considering its price.
